Vacuum Former Orientation

Computer Lab. Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Mayku Vacuum Former. This orientation session will introduce participants to vacuum forming services in the library, and the basics on how to create your own uniquely-shaped plastic molds. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a vacuum former at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a vacuum former. This event is open to those ages 13 and older. Teens ages 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Registration is required. After you register for the program, please create a Beanstack account if you do not already have one.
