About this event
3rd Floor Falcon Room. Tired of trying to figure out what to make for dinner? Artificial intelligence can be a surprisingly useful kitchen assistant—helping you brainstorm meals, use ingredients you already have, create a weekly menu, and simplify your grocery list. Join registered dietitian nutritionist Dr. Teresa Pangan for a practical, beginner-friendly look at how to use AI tools to make everyday meal planning easier and less overwhelming. Teresa will demonstrate real-life prompts you can use to generate meal ideas, reduce food waste, organize grocery shopping, and create balanced meals that fit your preferences and lifestyle. You'll also learn how to get better results from AI—and where you still need your own judgment when it comes to nutrition and health information. Participants will leave with sample prompts they can try at home and simple strategies for using AI to spend less time deciding what to eat and more time enjoying it. No AI experience required. Bring your curiosity—and your biggest “What am I going to make for dinner?” challenge! The City of Evanston is committed to promoting a Citywide culture of accessibility and inclusivity.
