The success of Uptown depends on many things working together — strong businesses, continued investment, thoughtful growth, a welcoming public environment, community activity, and collaboration among the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Uptown Forward will bring those perspectives together for a larger conversation about how successful communities continue to evolve while maintaining the qualities that made them successful in the first place. We are excited to welcome Roy Hall Jr., former Ohio State and NFL wide receiver and nationally recognized leadership speaker, as our keynote speaker. Roy will share a message about leadership, resilience, and turning vision into action. We’ll also hear from longtime Central Ohio radio personality and podcaster Dino Tripodis, who brings a particularly relevant perspective to our Uptown business community: Dino will share why he chose to invest in Uptown Westerville as the location for his new business and what he believes makes a community a place where businesses want to invest, and people want to gather. The program will conclude with a cross-sector panel, moderated by former Westerville Assistant City Manager and UWI Board Member Julie Colley, looking ahead to Westerville’s continued growth and the opportunities ahead.
