Join us in the Olympic room for Up and Atom STEAM Days where we try out a different STEAM activity each week. What do fire trucks, race cars, tow trucks, tractors, bulldozers, and dump trucks all have in common? There is nothing simple about it - all of them use simple and compound machines! Join educators from LeMay - America's Car Museum as we explore simple machines through playful experimentation and discovery, and see if you can build a vehicle that makes work a little easier by incorporating simple and compound machines into your design! Presented by LeMay- America's Car Museum, funded by Tacoma Creates / City of Tacoma, and hosted by Tacoma Public Library.
