About this event
North Park Branch. Explore the history of roadway construction from footpaths to high speed thoroughfares. We will delve into the evolution of the 'Modern Roundabout' and its relationship with the earlier version of the traffic circle. We will also discuss contributions from significant individuals such as Joseph Ellicott and Frederick Law Olmsted and how they shaped transportation in Buffalo. Taught by engineer Kenneth Kuminski. The library meeting room will open approximately 20 minutes prior to the start of each class. Registration is required and guarantees a seat until the start of each class.
