What stories have you unearthed this summer? Come to our Shindig, celebrate your reading discoveries, and help harvest the Potato Plot! We’ll begin the party with Sack Racing, making Potato Stamps, & other fun spud-themed activities. Enjoy the French Fry bar – what better way to eat potatoes? We’re collecting Potato Puns & Poems, and maybe a joke or three… Share your favorite or create your own. You can print out our handy sheet, or pick one up in the Children’s Room and at the party. The Raffle Drawing will be at noon; you must be present to win. Be sure to turn in your reading logs by the end of August to get a ticket and enter to win one of five exciting prizes. The Spud Club continues to tend the Potato Plot, and there’s still time to get involved on Wednesday afternoons at 4. Plan to help dig the potatoes out of the dirt on Saturday afternoon. Who knows what you may discover… If it is rainy, we will move indoors and make some adjustments to activities…
