Underwater Pumpkin Carving

Pumpkin carving is getting a deep-sea twist this Halloween. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, Silverton Casino’s aquatics team will dive into the resort’s 117,000-gallon saltwater aquarium to carve jack-o’-lanterns underwater, surrounded by sharks, stingrays and thousands of colorful tropical fish. This free, family-friendly event offers a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit while watching Silverton’s divers put their pumpkin-carving skills to the test. Guests can catch all the action through the aquarium’s viewing glass, then stick around to explore one of the resort’s most unique attractions. The aquarium is open 24/7, with even more underwater views available from the Mermaid Lounge.
