About this event
This is always one of CivCon's most popular mtgs. We just go through the statewide (and, if time, local) ballot propositions one by one, and discuss their meaning and pros and cons. Feel free to bring your ballot guide or sample ballot to mark it up. For each proposition, someone will give a brief intro that describes: 1\. How it got on the ballot and who's behind it\, including the $$\. 2\. What the prop would do/not do\. 3\. Basic pros and cons\. 4\. Maybe more\, like larger contexts\, misleading ads\, other things you maybe should know\. **Background for all CA props --** \-\- TBA\. I will link to summaries on Ballotpedia\, voter guides\, and some newspaper op\-eds\.
