About this event
25+ Writers featuring poetry, prose and spoken word: As a tribute to all the beautiful wordsmiths in our region, join us for a day celebrating the human spirit’s capacity for unbounded depth. Unbounded: A Sustained Author Reading event honors the space where knowing one’s boundaries allow for the contemplation of unlimited sky and boundlessness, and the human capacity to understand both. As Irish poet Seamus Heaney wrote, the capacity for good writing is to “allow one to have their feet on the ground and one’s head in the air simultaneously”. This 3-hour event brings together those who previously participated in CLUSTER Museum’s Author Readings alongside new voices and special guests. Writers include Mouna Ammar, Gina Maria Balibrera, Ashwini Bhasi, Chenxing Han, T Hetzel, Nazifa Islam, Jeff Kaas, A. H. Kim, Kyunghee Kim, Brian L. Jacobs, Linette Lao, Ruth Mella, Nadia Mota, Theo Poling, Onna Solomon, Jupiter Soto, Jennifer Sperry Steinorth, Ellen Stone, Leigh Sugar, Ciatta Tucker, Ami Walsh, Frances Kai-Hwa Wang, Jihyun Yun and more. Moderators include Erin Helmrich, Thea A. Eck, S. Jean Lee. Schedule of writers will be posted soon. Doors open at 11:45am: Event begins at 12pm/Noon. Audience members do not need to stay for the entire time. Best for ages 10+ years. This is a seated event. Closed container drinks are allowed in the gallery.
