UK Arboretum Easy Hike

Join us for an easy-paced hike at the UK Arboretum in Lexington, KY. We’ll loop around the Arboretum, with some backtracking, to cover most of the unpaved perimeter trails and interior gardens. **Trail Overview** **Location:** UK Arboretum **Distance:** \~4-5 miles **Route Type:** Loop with some backtracking **Difficulty:** Easy **Trail Conditions:** Well-maintained mulch, dirt, and paved trails **Pets:** Leashed pets are welcome to join us. Please do not allow your pet to approach another pet without checking with the owner first. **Recommended Hiking Gear** Bring water and wear comfortable shoes with good traction. **Experience Level** This hike is suitable for first-time and beginner hikers. We’ll be hiking at an easy pace, and the route has minimal elevation change. **Hike Start** Meet in front of the restroom building (this is not the visitor center or port-a-potties) at 8:00 a.m., we will leave to hike at 8:05 a.m. **Hike End** After the hike, we'll head over to Kenwick Table for brunch. **DISCLAIMER** By committing to this event, you acknowledge you have read the following Disclaimer: Meetup organizers/leaders are not guides, nor are they experts.
