Mexican dance artist Anniela Huidobro will premiere TZINELAS on October 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the National Museum of Mexican Art (1852 W. 19th Street, Chicago, IL 60608) as part of Destinos: 9th Chicago International Latino Theater Festival. TZINELAS es una obra de danza que reúne voces de mujeres latinas migrantes de diversos orígenes étnicos y culturales para explorar cómo las prácticas culturales y ancestrales nos permiten resistir la violencia sistémica que enfrentamos mientras vivimos en Estados Unidos. TZINELAS is a dance work that brings together voices of Latina immigrant women from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds to explore how cultural and ancestral practices enable us to resist the systemic violence we face while living in the United States.
