A keynote speaker from the Museum will be giving a slide show presentation in the large conference room on Saturday Oct 10, 2026 at 1pm. The Twin City Model Railroad Museum is hosting a new slide show about the railroads that served the Twin Cities grain milling and grain elevators in the area in the 1970s. The larger milling companies include General Mills, Pillsbury, ADM and Gold Medal. We will cover the 9 major railroads in the 1970s serving the Twin Cities including the Milwaukee Road, Northern Pacific, Soo Line, CB&Q, Great Northern, CNW, CGW, M&STL and the Rock Island. The presentation is 1 hour, admission is $10 and includes admission to all the layouts at the Museum.
