Tween S.T.E.A.M. Team

Ready, aim, launch! Tweens will put their creativity and engineering skills to the test as they design and build their own catapults, then compete in a series of Thanksgiving-themed challenges. Work as a team to launch cranberries, candy pumpkins, and other festive projectiles toward targets and see whose creation can go the distance. Come ready to build, experiment, adjust, and—of course—launch! Our Tween S.T.E.A.M. Team is a club for tweens ages 8–12 featuring monthly S.T.E.A.M. activities, crafts, challenges, and opportunities to create, explore, and have fun! This is a drop-off program designed for tweens to participate independently. Caregivers may wait in the library but do not attend the program. Due to the hands-on nature of activities, late entry is not permitted after 10 minutes.
