About this event
Welcome to Tween Night! A monthly program exclusively for tweens to learn and socialize. Our group is a space where all tweens can feel safe and included. Meet new people, build community, and learn amazing things along the way. This month we are creating awful art! Together we will have fun, be creative, and focus on the process of creating art instead of worrying about the end result. Tweens will have a set time to create art in groups or individually before putting them on display for our Awful Art Expo. After a vote, the creator of the absolutely most awful art will be awarded the Awful Art Trophy! Please dress for the mess! This program includes paint, glue, glitter, and other fun and messy materials, so be sure your tweens wear clothing that can get dirty and stained. This program is intended for ages 9-13. There will be some snacks and drinks provided. Parents are encouraged to stay in the library during this program.
