Tutored Wine Tasting

Sign up for our Tutored Tasting featured Washington State wines from Guardian Cellars and Newsprint. Jerry Reiner, the founder and winemaker, will be here at Vino pouring through five of his amazing wines from his two wineries. Enjoy a small plate of finger foods ~ almonds, goat cheese, garlic shrimp, asparagus soup, and beef stuffed mushrooms ~ as well that will pair perfectly with these wines being presented: Guardian 'Angel' Sauvignon Blanc $25.99 Guardian 'Pursued' Rosé $22.99 Newsprint Cabernet Franc $27.99 Guardian 'Confidential Source' Merlot $40.99 Guardian 'The Rookie' Cabernet Sauvignon $57.99 Jerry Reiner (along with his wife Jennifer Sullivan, both pictured above) founded Guardian Cellars and Newsprint in 2007. Their story is one you have to hear - a cop meets a reporter ~ they fall in love and start a winery. And while Jerry is a cop, he grew up farming and always had an interest in wine, volunteering at a number of Woodinville wineries - including Matthews, Mark Ryan and Baer - before taking the dive with his wife to start his own project. We love his wines and think they more than adequately showcase the distinct terroir and taste of Washington State. This is a seated tasting and space is limited to 42 people. Cost is $30 per person.
