Tuesday Night Hikes

Tuesday night hikes in Monte Sano State Park for 2026. Meet at the Hiker's Parking Lot starting at 5:15 to sign in; hikes begin PROMPTLY at 5:30 so we can get back well before sunset. Rated as strenuous because these are fast hikes; distance covered will depend on amount of daylight remaining. We will aim to get back to the trailhead 15-30 minutes before sunset. Bring sturdy shoes, water, snacks, hiking poles if you use them, and bug repellent/sun block as needed. Wear some blaze orange as well! Steady rain or forecasted storms cancels. There will be a waiver to sign at the trailhead.
