Try Playing in a Rock Band

Ever wanted to play in a band, but felt like you weren’t ready yet? This is a beginner-friendly first step. This is a low-pressure group music meetup for adults who want to try playing with other people in a relaxed, supportive environment. No auditions. No pressure. No need to already be “good enough.” In each session, we learn and play one simple song together as a group. I help assign beginner-friendly parts based on comfort level and instrument, then guide the whole process step by step. Possible roles include: * rhythm guitar * bass * vocals * percussion * keys This is a great fit for adults who want a supportive first experience making music with other people, whether you’re brand new, rusty, or just curious what the band experience feels like. Bring: * acoustic guitar (or electric + small amp) * any instrument you enjoy * your voice, if you sing Also available to share: * bass * cajon * microphones This event is especially great for people who've always dreamed of what it would be like to join a band but need a lower-pressure on-ramp first. In the Wandering Bards world, this is where a lot of people get their first taste of what playing together can actually feel like.
