Truth or Fiction - A Writer's Dilemma

Join us for an author talk with local author Renée Ozburn! She will be discussing her new book Unwanted Significance. "The inexplicable challenges of personal relationships—familial, romantic and friendships—is what fuels most of Renée's creative writing. And the conundrum of intelligent people who are successful academically and professionally, but struggle repeatedly and fail frequently in their closest relationships, provides endless fodder for stories. So, with all that material, there is often a dilemma. Do you write about experiences you’ve actually lived—or let dramas unfold in a made-up world?" Renée will give a talk, read a short excerpt from her book, and answer questions. The talk will be followed by a book signing. Copies of her book, Unwanted Significance, will be available for purchase.
