"Trick Your Brain!" STEAM Optical Illusions

About this event

Community Room. "Trick or Treat" your brain to the fascinating science of optical illusions! This program combines a read-aloud, a guided craft, and a self-guided illusion gallery to help young learners discover how their brain processes what their eyes see — and why it doesn't always get it right. Participants will take home a Thaumatrope, a classic spinning toy they make themselves! No prior experience needed — just a curious mind. Recommended for elementary-aged children. DML welcomes everyone to our programs. If you have questions or need any accommodations, please contact us so we can help make the program a good experience for you. Northmont's Social Story can be found here for your convenience.
