Tree Stories: A KPBSD Early Release Day Program presented by the Homer Public Library and the Pratt Museum Friday, October 23, 2026 | 1:30 – 2:30pm School gets out early today so it’s a great time to learn and have fun with Librarian Cinda and Museum Educator Hannah! For this installment of our school’s out early series, join us to learn all about the stories tree rings can tell us! We love trees! There will be a story, and hands on activities at the Library! Registration is required – register on the library’s website: Tree Stories | City of Homer Alaska Official Website. The event is intended for elementary aged kids. This event is part of a series. Upcoming special collaborations between the Pratt Museum and the Homer Public Library will be held on KPBSD early release days.
