Transportation Commission Meeting

The Transportation Commission advises the City Council on transportation-related matters such as short-term and long-range transportation planning, compliance with local, regional, and federal transportation regulations, bike, pedestrian, and mass transit-related planning initiatives, and parking and capital improvement plans. Hybrid meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Members of the public can participate in the monthly Zoom meeting virtually, on the phone, or at Tacoma Municipal Building in Room 243. The public may give oral comments related to agenda topics at the beginning of the meeting. General comments will be heard at the end of the meeting. Speakers will have anywhere from 90 seconds to three minutes to provide comment, depending on time availability. The public may submit comments in writing by 5:00 PM one day prior to the meeting.
