\*\*Event is $20 per person. This fee compensates Violet for her time and deep knowledge of the teas as well as the cost of the teas sampled. Join us for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with Violet Yang. Violet’s family grows their own teas from their ancient trees in China. Most of her teas come from her family, but in some cases they are sourced from other farms that are all organic. Violet is truly passionate about teas and has a wide breadth of knowledge. Tea is more than a drink—it’s a way to experience landscapes, forests, and cultures through your senses. During this guided tasting, I’ll brew a selection of teas using the traditional gongfu method while sharing their origins, stories, and what makes each one unique. Whether you’re completely new to tea or already enjoy it, you’re invited to simply relax, taste, and explore.
