About this event
Forgeron Hall - Front Meeting Room. Join us for a new monthly series designed to connect you with the people behind the work of the Town of Chatham. These informal panel discussions will introduce community members to municipal staff and committee representatives, offering insight into their roles, responsibilities, and current initiatives. This series serves as an accessible, introductory companion to the Town’s Municipal Academy—providing a welcoming way to learn how local government functions and how you can participate. Each session will [feature 2–3 panelists followed by] an open Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with Town leadership. Come get to know your local government—and discover how you can be part of it. For November, we welcome Treasurer/Tax Collector, Sharon Drown (sdrown@chatham-ma.gov) , who will discuss the work of the recently formed Taxation Aid Committee and how residents can contribute to the Taxation Aid Fund or apply for assistance from it. Registration is required; walk-ins subject to availability.
