Town & Country Symphony Orchestra celebrates Women in Music

This is a FREE concert featuring the full Town & Country Symphony Orchestra (TCSO). No tickets are required. However, please RSVP and keep your RSVP up to date. **TIMING & PARKING** Please arrive early, preferably by 2:00. The earlier you arrive, the closer you will be able to park (parking is free on campus at The Principia School). And, being early, you will find the group more easily at our reserved seats in the auditorium. The music starts at 2:30. We will have seats reserved for our group to sit together. You can feel free to bring guests. Please include them in your RSVP. We appreciate the extra consideration from the TCSO for our group. We will have an optional dinner after the concert for our Meetup members & guests and some members of the orchestra at the nearby Mike Duffy's restaurant in Town & Country. Please respond to the question about dinner with your RSVP. (You can change your answer to the dinner question at a later date simply by editing your RSVP.) **THE MUSIC PROGRAM** TCSO will explore the colorful and inspiring contributions of Women in Music. There's a story behind each selection. * *Fantasia on Welsh Nursery Tunes* by Grace Williams combines dignity and whimsy in equal measure. * Emma Lou Diemer’s contemplative “Aria” for string orchestra * Hubert Parry’s *Lady Radnor’s Suite* * Overture to Mozart’s *Così fan tutte* * Finale from Lalo’s *Symphonie espagnole* featuring Rising Talents medalist Zoe Baldwin. **UPDATE** Lady J is unable to join us for this program, so we will reschedule her "Hide-Away" for a future program. **FOR YOUR INFORMATION** Our Symphony Meetup has made a nominal contribution to the TCSO for the 2026/27 orchestral season.
