After losing all of his precious goods and everything he owned in a shipwreck, Zeno of Citum, the founder of Stoicism, sought to figure out how to live well in a world that could take everything from him at any moment. Find out how the Stoics resolved to find Eudaimonia, peace, or flourishing in this still chaotic world by focusing on what they control, watching their judgements, and advocating for virtue as well as the difference between ancient and modern views of stoicism! We encourage friendly and vigorous debate on this topic, using our queuing or “stacking” system of discussion so that all voices are able to contribute!
