Join us for downtown Raleigh's afternoon delight open mic at Artspace — the most vibrant gallery in our beloved city! We welcome singer-songwriters, instrumentalists, balladeers, poets, storytellers, spoken word artists, and more. (Sorry, no comedy). **Covers welcome. Originals encouraged!** Hat opens at 12:15. We draw the list at 12:45. Show starts at 1. Main slots are 7 minutes. Shim slots are 4 minutes. No cover ever. BYO bevs. **OUR LIST-BY-LOTTERY PROCESS** If you want to perform: * Drop your name in the hat anytime from 12:15 PM on. * At 12:45 PM *SHARP*, we draw names for 15 seven-minute slots. * If you're present for the drawing, you can choose your slot. * If not, we will assume you've been waylaid by pirates and fill from the end of the list to give you plenty of time to chew through your bonds or parlay for your freedom. * Halfway through the show, we draw 3 more names for our bonus 4-minute shim slots.
