Timewave Zero Live

About this event

Free Show! Saturday, October 10th 8PM A local favorite for years, this group of all-star musicians hail from the New River Valley of Virginia, up in the spine of the Appalachians… where rock and blues meet to jam, where the mountains meet the sky and raise your spirits high, where psychedelic funk punch is just what’s for breakfast… Timewave Zero music drives listeners straight into the heart of the singularity… Led by longtime songwriters and performers, Dr. Nicholas Polys (Jugbusters) and Chris Burgoyne (DoublePlusGood, Java Brothers and Jugbusters), Timewave Zero brings original music that you’ll swear you’ve heard before but still feels fresh and unique. Jason Tice (Flight One, Kerosene Willy and the Buck & Griz Show) keeps the beat rocking on drums, and newcomer to the band, Blake Miles, a Radford area jazz musician with several projects of his own, locks in solid bass lines, sure to reset some pacemakers. While playing mostly up tempo original music they also crush covers from bands ranging from Allman Bothers, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Son Seals, Weezer, or even Frank Zappa. This band has a little something for everyone. Bringing the energy and fun Floyd vibe, a Timewave show is always a night to remember!
