Salsa con Bachata Thursdays! Showcasing the very best mix of Bachata, Salsa, Bachata Sensual / Pop, Dominican, Merengue, and Cumbia. Salsa con Bachata with DJ D’Mendez & special guests instructors, weekly on Thursdays with our Drop-In Public Beginning Dance Class starting at 8:15 pm! A full 90 minutes of fun and inspiring Latin dance instruction! Doors: 8:00 pm w/ valid ID Dance social: 9:30 pm - midnight! We rotate each week with Salsa and Bachata lessons - with the 5th week of the month (if any) as our Latin Mix lesson featuring Merengue and Cumbia instruction! Enjoy a mix of Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, and Merengue throwbacks & pop hits, and incredible community vibes all night long. Live DJ sets with D’Mendez and (special rotating guest DJ) friends. We will showcase a mix of Merengue, Cumbia, Dominican Bachata, and Cuban Salsa each week. All-level dancers are welcomed! This event is designed to bring out the best in everyone! This is the most unique dance space Portland has to offer. Our floors are smooth, shiny, and beautiful. We have heat and AC and beautiful east facing windows. This is a second floor centrally located venue and in a very safe neighborhood.
