Threads of Light: Violin & Piano in Concert

Threads of Light: Violin & Piano in Concert

Fairfield favorite pianist Eugene Gaub returns for an intimate evening of chamber music, joined by his wife, violinist Nancy Gaub, in a radiant program for violin and piano. Part of the Barhydt Organ Spotlight Series, Threads of Light explores expressive melodies and rich harmonic textures, highlighting the lyrical interplay between these two instruments. Eugene Gaub is Professor of Music Emeritus at Grinnell College and an internationally sought-after soloist, with performances spanning the United States, Canada, and Europe. A graduate of Juilliard with advanced degrees from the Eastman School of Music, his artistry is rooted in the baroque and classical-romantic repertoire, bringing both technical mastery and deep musical sensitivity to the stage. The Barhydt Organ Spotlight Series features master organists and pianists who showcase the beauty of our Barhydt Organ and Steinway grand piano at their finest. Admission is free, with voluntary donations accepted at the door ($10 suggested).
