In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the City of Acworth is excited to announce the Threads of Freedom Parade to be held on Sunday, June 14th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The parade will run along Historic Main Street with a start at the First Baptist Church before finishing at the Holbrook. Residents, families, businesses, and organizations will be invited to register to participate in the parade. Registered parties can use any street-legal vehicle they choose (PTV, truck/trailer, car, etc.). More details and registration information coming soon, but please save the date for this momentous event in the community. Happy Birthday, America!
