About this event
Thirsty Ears is Chicago’s only classical music street festival, now in its 11th year. The festival features two days of stellar ensembles and soloists, craft beer and wine, local vendors and kid-friendly music and activities. The festival is free with a $10 suggested donation and it happens on Wilson Ave. between Ravenswood and Hermitage. On Saturday night at sundown we’ll give a special performance of our Sound of Silent Film Festival featuring newly composed scores performed live to modern silent films on the street. Saturday, August 22 2:00 – 11:00 PM Sunday, August 23 1:00 – 9:00 PM Free with $10 suggested donation
