Third Saturday for families: Words and Landscapes When: Thursday, January 1, 1970, 12 am Looking for a free family activity in Salt Lake City? Look no further than the Utah Museum of Fine Arts! Admission to the Museum is free every third Saturday of the month, and there is always an art-making activity for the whole family. This Third Saturday you’ll illustrate landscapes inspired by the words of Barry Lopez! A new exhibition at the UMFA, From Here to the Horizon, showcases photographs inspired by words about the land that were compiled by writer Barry Lopez. Explore the photographs on view, then choose a word at random from Lopez’s book to illustrate in the classroom.
