This year is the fifteenth, and it falls in the Matthews’ 120th — which is why the ticket is $30 instead of the usual $40. Murder at Legend Manor is an original mystery by Charlotte Fladmoe-Dougherty, who wrote, directed and acted at the Matthews for more than a decade and served as vice president of its board. She died in early 2026. This is her last mystery, and the royalties are her gift to the theater.
