The Writer's Room: Share Out!

Join Black Rose Theater ATX for The Writer’s Room , a community reading and conversation featuring four emerging writers developing an original script for the theater’s 2027 season. Inspired by The Breakfast Club , the new work reimagines familiar archetypes through a modern lens, exploring identity, belonging, stereotypes and the challenges facing today’s youth. Hear selected scenes and share your perspectives during an audience conversation designed to help shape the script. Youth ages 15–21, educators, mentors, parents and youth advocates are especially encouraged to attend.
