About this event
Dayton Metro Library is proud to host Ohio Wildlife Center. Bats have superpowers! They fly with their hands, sleep upside down, and use sound to “see” in total darkness. With more than 1,400 species on six continents, bats make up nearly one-fifth of all mammal species on Earth. You’ll learn about the remarkable adaptations of the world’s bats and the vital ecosystem services they provide that sustain our planet. Discover how the Ohio Wildlife Center rescues and rehabilitates Ohio’s bats and what you can do to support bat conservation in Ohio and beyond.
