Performances are Thursday at 6 PM, Friday at 8 PM and Saturday at 6 PM as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival. The one-person play follows Jeff, a former trivia champion and aspiring podcast host trying to write the perfect speech for his son’s wedding. What begins with trivia, laughs and audience interaction gradually reveals a more personal story. Through obscure facts, unexpected detours and memorable stories, Jeff explores memory, hope, regret and the complicated ways people connect with those they love. The show blends comedy and heartfelt drama while inviting audiences to play along. Written by Donna Hoke and performed by Jeff Wax, The Trivia Guy offers an interactive approach to storytelling. Tickets are $15. The Trivia Guy combines trivia, comedy and heartfelt storytelling for three Scranton Fringe Festival performances in Scranton.
