Moderator: Avery Wolff Avery Wolff is a Korean American artist and community advocate based in Columbia, South Carolina. A graduate of Roanoke College with a BA in Studio Art, her work and interests have always lived at the intersection of art, identity, culture, and social justice.Avery currently works with the South Carolina Commission for Community Advancement and Engagement, where she coordinates programs and outreach initiatives to under-resourced communities in SC and brings her background in graphic design to the agency’s communications and creative projects. She also serves on the board and as social media manager for About Face Art League, helping bring local artists together through drawing sessions and creative programming.Her passion for culture and connection also led her to co-found Tour of Tea, a nonprofit celebrating the diverse cultures of the AAPI community through tea, food, art, and tradition. Through the annual event, Avery helps create an inclusive space for cultural exchange while highlighting the diversity of the AAPI community.Whether she’s organizing an event or connecting with other creatives, Avery enjoys finding ways to bring people and ideas together.PanelistsOrlando Corona Orlando Corona (he/him) is a professional visual artist specializing in painting, printmaking, murals and teaching. After finding his passion for printmaking in his high school art class, he became captivated by art and began exploring printing and painting. In 2022, Orlando was accepted into the Brandon Fellowship program at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts, providing a pivotal catalyst for his career, and becoming a full-time artist shortly after leaving the program. Orlando has a passion for being involved in the community and helping others, often working with local non-profits, artists and organizations.Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, Orlando moved to Greenville, South Carolina at the age of 10 with his family.
