The Science Behind Winter Magic

What makes snowflakes form? How do Christmas lights glow? Could Santa’s sleigh really fly? What kind of engineering would it take to build the perfect gingerbread house? Young scientists will uncover the surprising science hiding inside their favorite holiday traditions! Through hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and a little holiday magic, students will explore chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and more! From creating frosty reactions to designing flying sleighs, students will experiment, engineer, test, redesign, and discover that sometimes the real magic is Science! For ages 9 to 13
