About this event

The Research Series: In this hands-on, 4-session workshop series, learn the essential research skills that go beyond the classroom. From forming a strong research question and creating and executing a research plan, to visualizing your results and confidently communicating your work, you’ll learn how to take an idea and turn it into real research. From Question to Plan: Building Your Research Roadmap A great research question is only the beginning. Learn how researchers turn a question into an organized plan, from researching background information to designing methods, collecting data, analyzing results, and drawing conclusions. You’ll learn how to create a research outline that acts as a roadmap for your entire project and how to actually use it while conducting your research. Designed and presented by teen volunteers with support from the Teen Services Librarian. For middle and high school age students.
