Before attending, I strongly encourage everyone to **read the book—or at least as much of it as possible**. Although relatively short, the book offers profound reflections on love, marriage, work, friendship, freedom, sorrow, joy, and the meaning of life. Its simplicity invites us to slow down and reflect on our own experiences. **No expertise is required.** This gathering is especially welcoming to newcomers, first-time readers, and anyone curious about Gibran and his ideas. You do not need an academic background in literature, philosophy, or spirituality. We will create a **safe, respectful, and supportive atmosphere** where everyone can share thoughts, questions, and personal interpretations. We will meet in the **cozy seating area at Starbucks in Sunnyside, Queens**, providing an informal and comfortable setting for conversation and reflection. If possible, please consider purchasing an **inexpensive coffee or tea** from Starbucks while we meet. This helps support the space we are using and makes our gathering even more comfortable.
