The Office 5K Season 6 | Downtown Scranton Saturday, May 1, 2027 | 1 p.m. The Office 5K Season 6 returns to Downtown Scranton on Saturday, May 1, 2027, at 1 p.m., starting at 523 Linden Street near Backyard Ale House. Inspired by NBC’s The Office, the road race takes participants past Scranton locations featured in the television series. Runners are encouraged to dress as their favorite characters for a chance to win prizes. Walkers can choose a modified one-mile course, and dogs are permitted on the walking route only. Dogs are not allowed with runners on the 5K course. Day-of registration and packet pickup will be available from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A pre-race packet pickup will be held Friday, April 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cooper’s Seafood House. Participants who register by April 18 are guaranteed a race shirt. Following the race, festivities continue with a block party and awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit Valley In Motion, a nonprofit working to strengthen quality of life throughout the Lackawanna Valley. The Office 5K Season 6 brings fans and runners together in Scranton for a race inspired by the iconic television comedy.
