Sunday afternoon belongs to the band when The MGM Band returns to The Sixty6 on September 20. Established in 2008, the Cleveland-area ensemble works across jazz, R&B, soul and Motown. The lineup previously featured at The Sixty6 has included Mike “Babyboy” Bearden on guitar, Girard Berry on keys and musical direction, Monzarllo “Jeff” Jeffries on keys, Michael “Tank” Bryant on bass and Maurice Odom on drums. For this MGM Band Cleveland performance, the focus is simple: a full band, a Sunday afternoon and two hours to settle into the music.
