Although his family moved over 14 times in and out of government assisted housing programs, his life changed during a brief encounter on a golf course while committing a small criminal act. It was because of the kindness shown to him that he was able to turn his life around, attend college (first in his family to graduate), and become a life long learner. His story is about faith, dedication, commitment and perseverance. His books have sold over 5k copies and his story has been featured in Golf Digest (April 2026) as story to be shared.
