Join us for a slideshow presentation about General Lew Wallace, the scapegoat of the Civil War’s Battle of Shiloh, who became the savior of Cincinnati. He rescued the Queen City from an attack by nearly 10,000 Confederates; formed the first Black brigade in the Union Army; captured Billy the Kid and stopped a bloody range war; and wrote one of the greatest books in American literature, Ben-Hur. Presented by author Peter Bronson, former editor and columnist at The Cincinnati Enquirer.
