About this event

The Making Space - College Students A Weekly Creative Hour For College Students - Online Connect - Create - Express Register Today Register Today An Open Studio Hour Led by an Art Therapist The Making Space is a creative hour for college students looking for a supportive space to explore creative ideas, express themselves, and honor their own creative capacity with other. Each session is guided by a registered art therapist. We open with a short mindfulness practice, then move into open studio time, where participants explore their creative expression at their own pace, in their own way. This is time set aside for a new project to begin, for a creative itch to be followed, or for gentle self-soothing through unpressured art making. Feel free to bring something you're already working on. And if you don't know what you'd like to create, that's no problem at all — our art therapist offers supportive prompts and shares options to collaborate with you in your creative discovery and expression. This group is open to adults 18 and over. No art experience is needed! The space is warm, unhurried, and built around the process rather than the product. Details: Thursdays | 12:00 – 1:00 PM MST Dates: October 15, October 22, October 29, 2026 Location: Virtual Facilitator: Kristina MacCaughan, LCMHC, ATR Cost: $25 per session, or $60 for all three sessions Materials: Bring your own — a short suggested supply list is sent when you register Register Today Why an Open Studio? A semester can leave little room for anything that…
