
The Magnificent Mazowsze
After 16 years, the world-renowned Magnificent Mazowsze will return to the United States. Founded in 1948, Mazowsze has become one of the largest and most celebrated ensembles of its kind in the world, performing for millions of spectators across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and beyond. The New York performance offers American audiences a remarkable opportunity to experience Mazowsze in a dazzling celebration of music, dance, and tradition that brings Poland’s cultural heritage vividly to life in Brooklyn, a historic center of Polish life in the United States. The ensemble has captivated audiences on all continents, showcasing the beauty, color, and spirit of Poland’s folk heritage at the highest artistic level. Spectators at this one-night performance will experience the extraordinary artistry of 150 performers on stage — the Mazowsze Choir, Ballet, and Orchestra — in a breathtaking production featuring dynamic choreography, powerful music, and more than 1,500 dazzling costumes representing Poland’s rich regional traditions. Mazowsze will perform under the baton of Jacek Boniecki, the ensemble’s director and conductor.
