About this event

Join us for our next Made to Last event with woodworker, Anne Marie Elder. She will share her personal collection of woodworking tools passed down through her family from her great-grandfather. Anne Marie will share her passion for early American craftsmanship and discuss historical facts, traditional techniques, and her own journey in crafting custom handmade pieces. Anne Marie Elder is the co‑founder of Colonial Crafts and a dedicated maker specializing in hand‑carved spoons and bowls. She also practices 17th‑century joinery and carving, with a particular love for creating bible boxes and joined chests inspired by early New England traditions. Her work has been shown with the Granby Artists Association, and she regularly shares her passion for heritage craft through demonstrations at museums and community events. Each month, Anne Marie opens her studio to the public for relaxed carving gatherings, welcoming makers of all levels to carve, connect, and enjoy the craft together. GET FREE TICKETS
