From the Revolutionary era through the nation’s growth and into the present day, Hilary Beirne will highlight the ways Irish people helped shape American democracy, culture, communities and society. The program will examine their contributions to the founding of the nation, the building of America and the continuing influence of Irish heritage in American life.
