The Honey Jar

Something sweet is coming to Saint Paul! Presented by the Hive Collaborative and Twin Cities theatermakers Destiny Davison and Ross Flores, The Honey Jar is a new monthly improv variety show that brings the funniest troupes in town together for a night of laughs and fresh comedy! The Honey Jar is hosted once a month on a Tuesday at 7pm, and features 2-3 troupes per night. Join us after the show for a community hangout to meet the performers, connect with other improvisers, and catch up on the latest buzz! The Honey Jar, the monthly improv variety at The Hive Collaborative in Saint Paul, is hosting a very spooky show on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:00pm! Inspired by that odd window of time right after Halloween and just before the holidays, join hosts Destiny Davison (Dolly Who?) and Ross Flores (Manny Rodriguez), the cast of MN Fringe 2026’s DOOZY, and the cast of BLACKOUT for an evening of live improv comedy that is equal parts celebratory and downright chilling. Festivities include: Puppets Awkward holiday traditions Effortless swag Twilight references Scary stories and a surprise or two! Performers: Dolly Who?, The Manny Rodriguez Show, DOOZY (Britt Johnson, Cody Madison, Deanna Pistono), Blackout Improv (Alexis Camille, Dorian Beal, AlyssaRose Jordan-Bird, and Khary Jackson). Sliding scale tickets available online and at the door. Popcorn, refreshments, themed bathrooms, and good vibes included. Costumes welcome, but not required. Destiny Davison (she/they) is an artist, cartoonist, and improviser from Minneapolis. She performs her solo show, DOLLY WHO?, routinely across the Twin Cities and is a member of Blackout Improv Comedy. She’s appeared on stages at The Ordway, The Playwright’s Center, the Minnesota Fringe Festival, HUGE Theater, the Bryant Lake Bowl, and the Brave New Workshop’s Dudley Riggs Theatre.
