The Greenliners

The Greenliners are an Asheville-based progressive bluegrass ensemble featuring Richard Barrett (guitar & vocals), Jackson Dulaney (dobro), Christian Ferri (upright bass), Jay Franck (mandolin & vocals), and Ben Saylor (banjo & vocals); all veterans of the Western North Carolina acoustic music scene. Their music is a melting pot of southern acoustic, jam-grass, and americana with a focus on songwriting. Anchored by Barrett & Franck’s unique vocal blend, The Greenliners carve out a fresh take on the Appalachian acoustic traditions. Founded in 2005, Pisgah is known for producing some of the most sought after craft ales in Western North Carolina. Pisgah Brewing Company currently operates the new indoor taproom with live music several days a week, plus our outdoor music venue in the summer and fall months with live music frequently on WNC’s premier outdoor music venue, the Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage.
